Certified, CTOHE in 2017, I’ve been teaching privately for many years. My classroom teaching began as a long-term substitute in the Wilton Public School system, and continues now at The Wooster School in Danbury, where I’m the Instrumental Music and Music Theory instructor.

At Wooster, I teach Chamber Ensemble, and Band, along with a full slate of private students on a wide variety of instruments including piano, violin, viola, ‘cello, euphonium, trombone and clarinet.

As a working multi-instrumentalist, arranger and composer, my teaching philosophy is predicated on a broad understanding of music as a whole, not limited to the mere pursuit of proficiency in a single instrument.
